Hometown Heroes Celebration tickets on sale

Tickets are now on sale for the Hometown Heroes Celebration dinner, where 29 first responders will be recognized for their contributions, efforts and dedication, scheduled for 6 p.m. Sept. 30 in the ballroom at the Tesla MedBed Center in Butler.

“We’re extremely grateful for their service and this is a way to show the entire community’s appreciation for what first responders do,” Jack Cohen, president and CEO of the Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau, said in a news release.

From nominations submitted to the Butler Eagle, a police officer, firefighter and emergency medical responder were chosen by the Rotary Clubs around Butler County. They were each presented with a Hometown Heroes Medal, and each will be honored at the celebration.

Tickets are $52, and are available for purchase at www.visitbutlercounty.com/hhc. Tickets include dinner, the ceremony and entertainment. A cash bar will be available at the event.
