Former students of the Chicora School will gather for a reunion at 4 p.m. May 27 at the Lyndora American Legion Hall, 150 Legion Drive. Dinner will be at 5 p.m.

The event is for those who attended grades one to 12 up until 1959.

[naviga:h3]Tent book sale set in Saxonburg[/naviga:h3]

SAXONBURG — The South Butler Community Library, 240 W. Main St., will have a used book tent sale from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday during Saxonburg’s Mingle on Main event, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 20 during the May Market.

The sale will include vintage and gift quality books as well as baked goods.

The Friends of the Library host the sale to support the library.

Seniors for Safe Driving will host the following classes for those 55 and older:

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 10, Rose E. Schneider Family YMCA, Cranberry Township

8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 15 and 16, Butler Memorial Hospital

9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 28, The Lowrie Place, 100 Stirling Village Drive

Seniors completing the course will receive a 5 percent reduction in their automobile insurance premiums for three years.
