Sichak

Delores "Dolly" Sichak, 76, of Bessemer Avenue in Lyndora, died Saturday at the Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 3, 1933, in Butler, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Rossi Sacco.

She was a 1950 graduate of Butler High School and served on the class reunion committee for many years.

Along with her husband, she was the owner of Buddy Nick's Bar in Lyndora. She also was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora and the Ladies Guild at her church.

She was very generous and caring, and she enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking and caring for her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years, Nicholas J. "Nick" Sichak, who she married Sept. 1, 1962; two daughters, Nicole Slomer and her husband, Paul Slomer Jr. of Butler, and Alison Smith, also of Butler; one son, David Sichak and his wife, Petrina Sichak of Pittsburgh; seven grandchildren, Michael, Alex, and Julianna Slomer, Jeralyn, Madelyn, and Jamison Smith, and Nicholas P. Sichak; four sisters, Genevieve Miller (Floyd) of Pioneer, Calif., Violet Elder of Wappinger Falls, N.Y., Marie Tenace (Gene) and Lillian Faulstich (George), both of Butler; two brothers, Robert Sacco and his wife, Victoria Sacco of Butler, and David Sacco, also of Butler, numerous nieces and nephews and many good friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

<B>SICHAK</B> — Friends of Delores "Dolly" Sichak, who died Saturday, July 4, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora. Interment will follow at the Calvary Cemetery.
