Ethan Rock singled home Cole Baxter with the winning run to cap a five-run bottom of the seventh inning, leading Center Township to an 11-10 win over Saxonburg in Butler County American Legion action at Pullman Park over the weekend.

Rock had three hits for Center Township and Baxter launched a home run in the first inning.

Tyler Vidmar also had a single and a double and Ben Hortert two singles.

Mark Keck paced Saxonburg, which entered the game undefeated at 5-0, with a single and a triple.

Aaron Voelker picked up the win in relief, striking out seven in 3 1/3 innings of work.

Meridian 5, Cranberry Township 2 — Bobby Swartwout homered and doubled as Meridian downed Cranberry Township.Jace Lyon and Ben Berresford each had a triple and Jacob Koerner singled, doubled and drove in two runs for Meridian.Koerner got the win, striking out five and scattering four hits.
