Paul J. Motko
Paul J. Motko, 65, of Crisswell Road died Tuesday at the UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born Oct. 4, 1941, in Butler, he was a son of the late Paul and Esther Ferrari Motko.
He was a 1959 graduate of Butler High School and retired in 2004 as the plant operator for Penn American Water Co. after 42 years. He was a member of the AFL-CIO.
Mr. Motko was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Lyndora.
He was an outdoorsman/sportsman and especially enjoyed hunting.
Surviving are his wife, Mary C. Schaffner Motko, whom he married June 23, 1962; three sons, Charles T. "Chuck" Motko and James W. "Jim" Motko and his wife, Teresa Motko, all of Butler and Christopher P. Motko and his wife, Joanne Motko, of Page, Ariz.; five grandchildren, Sarah, Kevin, Nicholas, Alexis and Brianna Motko; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A sister, Eleanor Green, preceded him in death.
<B>MOTKO </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Paul J. Motko, who died Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Lyndora with the Rev. Douglas Lorance officiating.
