A new support group will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday at Panera Bread for women who are suspected of having multiple sclerosis or those who have been diagnosed with the disease in the last five years.The group will continue to meet at 3 p.m. the first Saturday of each month. VALENCIA — Valencia Presbyterian Church has partnered with Abitibi-Consolidated Recycling to begin a community recycling program.A bin has been placed in the church parking lot, 80 Sterrett St., for community residents and businesses to drop off paper items, including newspapers, magazines, catalogs and mail.Cardboard, phone books and kitchen or bath products are not accepted.
The following rabies clinics have been planned:<B>Cranberry Rotary and Gardens Veterinary Hospital Rabies Clinic</B>, 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Rowan Elementary School, Rowan Road. Cost:$7 per pet. Proceeds benefit community projects.<B>Hope House Ministries Rabies Clinic</B>, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Thorn Creek Methodist Church, 148 Rockdale Road, Penn Township. Cost: $8 for each pet. PROSPECT — ABlossom Time Card Party and Salad Luncheon will be held at noon Saturday at the Prospect Fire Hall, Main Street. The event will include door prizes, a raffle and a Chinese auction.Admission is $6 per person. Proceeds benefit the Prospect Community Library.
