The next Reality Tour Drug Prevention Program will be presented at 6 p.m. May 14 at the Butler YWCA, 120 W. Cunningham St. Programs have also been planned May 29 in Slippery Rock and June 14 in Mars.

CRANBERRY TWP — The Southern Butler County Garden Club will host its annual sale of perennials and herbs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. May 12 at Cranberry Community Park, located behind the fire station on Route 19.Historical society sets summer hoursThe Butler County Historical Society has announced its summer schedules for the Lowrie/Shaw House and the Butler County Heritage Center.The Lowrie/Shaw House, 123 W. Diamond St., will be open from 1 to 3 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 26.The heritage center, located at 119 W. New Castle St. is open 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays and 1 to 3 p.m. Sundays through Aug. 29.Admission to each site is $3 for adults, $1 for youth ages 5 to 17 and free for children younger than 5 and historical society members.

NEW WILMINGTON, Lawrence County — The Where the Corners Meet quilt guild will host a Shop Owners' Night for quilters will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at New Wilmington Presbyterian Church.The evening will feature vendors of quilting supplies and new ideas and information for quilters.Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
