A dogs-only swim session is planned from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 12 at Alameda Park.

The entry fee is $10 per canine, and 50% of the proceeds will go toward the Butler County Humane Society.

Lifeguards will be on duty, and the play stations will be on, so dogs can enjoy a leisurely dip in Alameda Water park.

Dog owners must bring a copy of their pet’s license and their current vaccination records to gain entry to the water park.
