CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.The sacrament of Holy Communion will be observed at the weekend services at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road.The youth group will lead the contemporary service at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.Pledges are now being accepted for the annual golf marathon on Aug. 23. CHRIST'S OUTREACHBeth Ackelson and Lyric Ackelson will provide music at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave. The service will also feature vacation Bible school participants, who will present selections from Lava Lava Island during the offertory.The Tom Walker Family will begin a new radio program from 9 to 9:15 a.m. Sunday on WISR.The Wednesday evening adult Bible class will resume this week.

COVENANT PRESBYThe Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St. Edward Knight will be the guest soloist.The Service of Installation for the Rev. James Swanson will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday. A reception will follow in the assembly room.

FAITH FELLOWSHIPA Friday night fellowship will be held at 6 p.m. tomorrow in the pavilion at Faith Fellowship Alliance Church, 200 Faithway-Fared Drive. Participants should take a dish to share, drinks and games.

FIRST BAPTISTThe annual Sunday school picnic of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will be begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock. Supper will be served at 5 p.m. Participants should take table service and a dish to share.The Rev. HILL U.P.The youth musical "Promise U," will be presented by music, art and drama camp participants at the 6 p.m. Saturday and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services of Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. An ice cream social will follow the Saturday service.Clean infant, toddler, and youth clothing up to size 16 will be accepted Aug. 7 to 17 at the church. A back-to-school sale of the donated clothing will be held Aug. 20 and 21, with proceeds benefiting mission projects.Adult volunteers are needed for the cooking camp to be held Aug. 9 to 13. NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIESThe Lord's Supper will be celebrated at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch School Auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg.

NORTH MAIN STREET CHURCH OF GODA "Guys Only Swim" for youth in grades six through 12 of North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St. Ext., will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. today. RIDER LUTHERAN CHURCHThe Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Rider Lutheran Church, 189 Rider Church Road, West Sunbury. New paraments will also be dedicated during the service. A hymn sing will be held prior to the service.
