Gayle Robb Weiland

Gayle Robb Weiland, 75, of Pleasant Hills in Pittsburgh, formerly of Butler, died Monday evening at Jefferson Regional Health Center.

She was the daughter of M. Clair and Esther Gordon Robb.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney A. Weiland, who she married in December 1957; a son, Curt A. Weiland, and his wife, Dr. Kathryn Ryan, of Butler; a daughter, Lynne W. Connolly, and her husband, Chris, of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew and Claire Weiland and Cara, Kathryn and Kristen Connolly; two sisters, Denise Ruffo of Sharpsville and Susan Stephenson of Meridian; and a brother, Robert (Martha) Robb of Finleyville.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Neely.

<B>WEILAND </B>— Friends of Gayle Robb Weiland, who died Monday, March 31, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Herman. The Rev. James Murphy, pastor of St. Fidelis Catholic Church of Meridian, will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish Cemetery, Herman.Gayle was a cancer survivor and worked diligently each year to continue the efforts of the American Cancer Society. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be to the American Cancer Society, Pennsylvania Division, P.O.
