Wearing

Thomas L. Wearing, 59, of Evans City, passed away Monday morning, Aug. 21, 2023, with family by his side at UPMC Passavant in McCandless Township.

Born in Butler on Jan. 24, 1964, he was the son of the late Arthur and Mary Helen Meals Wearing.

He was raised in the Presbyterian faith.

He worked as a truck builder for Envirosight in Callery.

Tom enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping. He loved watching dirt track racing and playing cornhole. He was the life of the party with family and friends. Tom loved his Camp Wilhelm family. He had a special place in his life for his dog, Pepper.

Tom is survived by his wife, Kathy Bieber Wearing, whom he married June 15, 1985; two daughters, Stephanie (Jason) Wilfong and Amy (Christopher) McLallen; one sister, Linda (Ray) Middleton; one brother, Garrie (Marge) Wearing; four grandchildren, Blake and Brynlee Wilfong and Adalynn and Mason McLallen; and many nieces and nephews.

WEARING — Friends and relatives of Thomas L. Wearing, who died Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m Thursday at A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME, 328 W. Main St., Evans City.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
