Ruth R. Scott Greenawalt
Ruth R. Scott Greenawalt, 89, of Middlesex Township passed away Friday evening in The Arbors, formerly the Fosnight Personal Care Home, Valencia.
Born in Middle Lancaster, Aug. 31, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Ira W. and Edna M. Pfeifer Scott.
She was a member of the Middlesex Presbyterian Church of America.
Mrs. Greenawalt managed the Isaly's store in the Point Plaza Shopping Center, Butler. She later bought the store and retired in 1983.
She enjoyed birdwatching, doing jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard M. Greenawalt, who died Feb. 10, 1992; one daughter, Sherry Bollinger; one son, James Greenawalt; two brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn (Joseph) Kozora of Saxonburg and Vickie (Charles) Prijatelj of Middlesex Township; one son, Lee S. (Karen) Greenawalt of Valencia; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Main St., Evans City, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
