8:20 a.m. Jan. 14 — Acar driven by Thomas Donoghue, 56, of Pittsburgh crashed into a cement barrier and pickup truck after sliding out of control while traveling across General Richard Butler Bridge on South Main Street. Richard Book, 56, of New Castle was driving the pickup.
Friday — Vehicles driven by Scott Graham, 39, and Shawn Morter, 32, both of Butler collided at Route 8 and Cooledge Street. Police said both drivers suffered minor injuries.8:03 p.m. Wednesday — James Ifft Sr., 71, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Highfield Road. Police said Ifft also was cited for careless driving, a stop sign violation and other traffic violations.
4:30 a.m. Sunday — Apickup truck driven by Samuel Nail, 42, of Parker crashed into an embankment on Route 58 in Allegheny Township. Nail told police he lost control of the pickup when he swerved to avoid a deer on the road.9:20 p.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Patricia Cornetti, 43, of Evans City struck an embankment and utility pole along Woodlands Road in Connoquenessing Township. Cornetti and a passenger, Nathan Cornetti, 15, of Evans City, suffered minor injuries. Police said Patricia Cornetti was cited for driving too fast for conditions.1:23 a.m. Saturday — Jeremy M. Altman, 21, of New Castle was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Route 258 and Kelly Boulevard in Slippery Rock Township.Between 10 a.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday — An iPod and other undisclosed items were taken from a vehicle on Branchton Road in Cherry Township. Sarah Ubry of New Castle owns the stolen property.3:30 p.m. Friday — Acar driven by Cora Davidson, 70, of Evans City and a sport utility vehicle driven by David McGinnis, 40, of Rimersburg, Clarion County, collided on Route 68 in Forward Township.Between 2 and 4 p.m. Thursday — Someone fired a BBgun and shot out two windows at Branchton Road home of Lynda Christy in Washington Township.Jan. 2 — An Xbox 360 gaming system and 18 video games were stolen in a burglary at the Brady Hills Estate home of Jason Laurent in Brady Township. The stolen property is valued at $1,539.
8:25 a.m. Saturday — Acar driven by Brenda Carlesi, 43, of Kittanning crashed in a guardrail on Route 28 in Buffalo Township, Butler County.
9:05 a.m. Saturday — Asport utility vehicle driven by Stephanie Huston, 20, of Albion, Erie County, crashed at Route 208 and Outlets Drive in Springfield Township.
