Dorothy R. Cupps

Dorothy R. Frederick Cupps, 84, of St. Johns Specialty Care Center in Mars, formerly of Evans City, passed away Friday morning in UPMC Passavant in McCandless, Allegheny County.

Born Oct. 13, 1924, in Harmony, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elsie Barkley Frederick.

Mrs. Cupps was a Protestant, and she was a retired homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Carol Ann McNeil and Beverly J. Molnar, and her husband, Richard, all of Pittsburgh, and Diana L. Self of Butler; three brothers, Charles Frederick Jr. of Zelienople, and Richard Frederick and Robert Frederick, both of Westminster, S.C.; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Bernard Cupps in 1979; a son, Robert; a daughter, Patricia; four brothers; and a sister.

<B>CUPPS </B>—<B> </B>Friends and relatives of Dorothy R. Cupps, who died Friday, July 3, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>A. CARL KINSEY-RONALD N. VOLZ FUNERAL HOME,</B> 328 W. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Evans City Cemetery.The family has suggested memorial donations be made to the Butler County Humane Society, 1015 Evans City Road, Renfrew, PA 16053, or the Salvation Army, Evans City Unit, c/o Lucille Wingard, 400 Belle St., Evans City, PA 16033.Additional information may be obtained at www.kinsey-volzfuneralhome.com.
