GROVE CITY — Knoch graduate and Grove City College senior wide receiver Scott Fraser has been named D3football.com Preseason Division III All-American. He made third-team.

The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Fraser led the Presidents’ Athletic Conference last season with 70 receptions for 1,145 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2022. He ranks fourth all-time at GCC with 1,958 receiving yards and fifth with 132 receptions.

SRU softball sports one of highest GPAs

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Slippery Rock University softball team’s cumulative grade point average ranked 16th out of 272 NCAA Division II schools last season.

The team GPA of 3.658 was also second highest in the PSAC.

SRU had 17 players named Easton/NFCA All-Academic Scholar-Athletes. They were Kelsi Anderson, Mackenzie Borkovich, Arielle Brown, Naomi Childs, Madison Davis, Cami Fisk, Mackenzie Freeman, Paige Gresgott, Regan Hozak, Alexsa Hird, Julianna Hutchison, Aubrey Mansfield, Julia Montie, Chloe Sharman, Jeanna Sukey, Anna Villies and Claire Zimmerman.

Borkovich, Davis, Fisk, Gresgott, Montie, Sharman, Sukey and Villies had 4.0 GPA’s.
