Jean P. Caldwell Shaner

Jean P. Caldwell Shaner, 80, of Callery died Sunday morning at her home.

Born April 29, 1927, in Virginia, she was the daughter of William and Minnie Caldwell.

She was a Protestant.

She worked at a bartender for Jean's Tavern in Forward Township and for the VFW of Evans City.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters and two grandsons.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dale (Dotte) Caldwell of Callery and Mrs. Lois Keith of Butler; a son, James Luna of Callery; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

<B>CALDWELL</B>— Friends of Jean P. Caldwell Shaner, who died Sunday, Sept. 23, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N.Volz Funeral HOme</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Rosalyn Kummer, retired presbyterian minister, officiating.Burial will be in Evans City Cemetery.Information is available at www.kinsey-volzfneralhome.
