Musician Vincent Anastasi of Grove City will perform from 7 to 10 p.m. Monday at North Country Brewery, 141 S. Main St., Slippery Rock, and from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 23 at Olde Town Farmer’s Market, 119 S. Broad St. Grove City. Inspired by U2’s “The Joshua Tree” in 1987, Anastasi bought his first guitar. By 1993 he was writing his own music, and in 1994 he completed his first album.The band Survivor, which had the hit “Eye of the Tiger,” will appear in concert outdoors at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at Old Economy Village, Church Street. Gates open at 6 p.m. The Bishop Clay Band will play at 7:30 p.m. followed by Survivor from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 for gold circle seating and $30 for general admission, for which those attending should take folding chairs or blankets.
