Galster, 27, of Butler was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after police responded to an intruder alarm at Foundation Medical Services on Hollywood Drive.Police found a prescription bottle with a empty stamp bag used for heroin inside Galster's vehicle.4:55 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle driven by Paul Kondas, 75, of Butler and a vehicle driven by Leah Marz, 25, of Slippery Rock collided at the intersection of North Main Street and WISR Way.
2:35 a.m. Saturday — Mark A. Lawrence, 21, of Youngstown, Ohio, was charged with driving under the influence following a traffic stop on New Castle Road.State Police, Butler1:10 a.m. Friday — Terri Aspinall, 44, of Prospect was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Route 488 in Muddy Creek Township.9:46 p.m. Friday — A black canvass suitcase containing clothing was found outside The Meadows Manor Home on Route 356 in Jefferson Township. The owner may claim the items by calling police at 724-284-8100.Friday — Someone smashed the window of a Ford Tempo owned by Jerad Christopher Soose, 21, of Butler while it was parked on Jamisonville Road in Center Township and stole 500 DVD videos, 50 PlayStation video games and a Sony DVD player worth a total of $11,900, owned by Erika Hyatt, 26, of Harmony, between 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and 4:30 p.m. Friday. Anyone with information about the theft should call police at 724-284-8100.
6:25 a.m. Friday — A car driven by Alain Tamonoche, 33, of Pittsburgh was traveling on Interstate 80 in Allegheny Township when it rolled over multiple times. The driver was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. The Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.3:10 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by a Rimersburg 17-year-old male and an ambulance driven by John Milsom, 48, of Kittanning collided on Route 60 in Madison Township. Sarah Beck, 26, of Ford City, who was a passenger in the ambulance, received minor injuries. Both drivers and the 17-year-old's passenger, a 15-year-old Rimersburg girl, were not injured.Monday — Someone stole a 24-inch television from an upstairs unit in the St. Cloud Hotel on Kellys Way in East Brady overnight.
5 p.m. Friday — A vehicle driven by Sarah Trowbridge, 19, of Slippery Rock struck a pedestrian as he was crossing the road at Volant Mills in Volant. Thomas McManus, 38, of Mercer received moderate injuries and was taken by medical helicopter to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio.Monday — About $200 worth of scrap metal was stolen from the rear parking lot of the Slippery Rock Township building on Route 422 between Sept. 29 and Monday. The scrap, which included old traffic signs and cut up guardrail, was to be sold.
