United Republicans to host pig roast picnic with elected officials
The United Republicans of Butler County will host its first pig roast picnic from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 4 in the shelter outside the Lyndora American Legion Post at 150 Legion Memorial Drive.
Food and live music will be available, and guests will include elected officials from around the county and Pennsylvania, including U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-16th, state Sen. Scott Hutchinson, R-21st, and county commissioners Leslie Osche and Kim Geyer.
Seating is available, but guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs. The event is free and open to the public, with any donations going toward the United Republicans.
“We just want to bring Republicans together for the sake of camaraderie and fellowship,” said event organizer Cheryl Guenther.
