2:01 a.m. Thursday — Jessica Trufley-Smith, 24, of Butler was arrested for driving under the influence on West Cunningham Street. She was also cited for not stopping at a flashing red light.

8:32 p.m. Thursday — Bambi Lynn, 50, of Butler suffered minor injuries when the motorcycle she was driving struck a deer and the bike crashed on its side at Route 38 and Thorn Drive in Oakland Township. Lynn was wearing a half helmet.8:18 a.m. Thursday — Atruck driven by Kevin Hacket, 39, of Butler struck an embankment and utility pole along Mercer Road near Duffy Road in Center Township.1:45 a.m. Thursday — Someone tried to break into the Stoney Hollow Road home of Ray Welling in Winfield Township. Welling was home and discovered the attempted burglar, who ran away from the house.7:15 p.m. Monday — Jeremy Sawyer, 30, of Portersville was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 488 in Prospect.

Wednesday — A .22-caliber rifle was stolen between Monday and Wednesday in a burglary at the Sportsman's Road home of James Cerutti in North Buffalo Township, Armstrong County.

1:15 p.m. Saturday — A vehicle driven by Gregory Wehn, 24, of Pittsburgh was traveling on Route 19 in the area of the Kenny Ross car dealership when it apparently pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Renato Denardis, 78, of 148 Rock Lake Dr., Zelienople. Wehn received a traffic citation for driving on the right side of the road in the accident. He also complained of neck pain and was taken to UPMC Passavant Cranberry for treatment.8:05 p.m. Saturday —- Joseph Henderson, 44, of 419 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on Little Creek Road. A patrol officer saw the vehicle hit a curb on Evans City Road near Grandview Avenue and it also did not have its headlights on.12:02 a.m. Aug. 29 —- Thomas Rinne, 54, of 202 Gristmill Circle, Zelienople, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on Gristmill Lane.5:01 p.m. Aug. 29 —- Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Route 19 in front of Carlson's Bait and Tackle Shop after receiving reports of a vehicle driving erratically in that area. Police found the vehicle, driven by Betty Lintz, 80, of Fombell, Beaver County, in a ditch. She told police she was possibly having a medical attack. She was taken to Allegheny General Hospital by Harmony EMS for treatment.7:29 p.m. Aug. 27 —- Courtney Nasser, 23, of Hermitage, Mercer County, was charged with marijuana possession after police responded to a call about a disabled vehicle on Interstate 79. Police found a cigar suspected to be marijuana on the ground next to the vehicle and a search of the vehicle turned up a baggy containing suspected marijuana.9:05 p.m. Aug. 26 —- Jason Richard Lefebvre, 21, of 9024 Marshall Road, Cranberry Township, was cited for disorderly conduct after getting into a verbal confrontation with officers at the Western Pennsylvania Warhawks semi-pro football game at NexTier Stadium.7:05 a.m. Aug. 23 —- A vehicle driven by Kirsten Stauffer, 16, of 500 Whitestown Road, Harmony, was traveling west on Little Creek Road and was turning onto Seneca School Drive when it collided with a vehicle driven by Scott McKee, 40, of 146 Liberty Road, Harmony. No injuries were reported. Stauffer was cited for a vehicle making an improper left turn.11:49 a.m. Aug. 22 —- A vehicle driven by Louis Mariano, 71, of Coraopolis, Allegheny County, crossed into the path of a vehicle driven by Gary M. Tonissen, 54, of Salem, Ore., causing an accident on Route 19 in the area of Winner's Circle Auto Shop. Both vehicles were towed. Mariano and his wife Rose, who was a passenger in his vehicle, complained of neck and back pain and were treated at Ohio Valley General Hospital in McKees Rocks. Mariano was cited by police for improperly entering or crossing a road.

Sept. 4 —- A Uniden portable telephone was found at the intersection of Spruce Street and North Center Street. Anyone claiming the phone may do so at the police department.Sept. 3 —- Danielle Black, 19, of Tidball Avenue was cited for underage drinking in the 200 block of South Broad Street.
