Alyce Louise McGregor, 73, of Genoa, Ohio, formerly of Chicora, passed away Thursday following an illness.

She was born April 6, 1938, in Butler. She was the daughter of the late Elmer G. Arnold and the late Elizabeth Rae Gould Arnold.

She was a former member of St. Alphonsus Parish having attended the West Sunbury location, St. Louis Catholic Church, for many years. She was a LPN for 11 years at the Butler Veteran’s Administration Hospital, now VA Butler Healthcare.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Douglas (Cheryl) Ekis of Chicora and Mrs. Kevin (Lisa) Murtland of Florida; one son, Kenneth Lee Wolford Jr. of Ohio; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sandra Arnold of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, and two brothers.

William F. Young Funeral Home, 132 Main St., West Sunbury from noon until 3 p.m. Tuesday. A blessing service will follow at 3 p.m. with the Rev. James Bedillion of St. Alphonsus Parish officiating.Burial will be in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery.
