FIRE HITS ZELIE
Zelienople firefighters attempt to save three South Main Street buildings from fire May 10. The former AAA building and Beecher’s Gelato & Gourmet Coffee had to be destroyed, and a third building that housed the law office of attorney Wesley Hamilton sustained significant damage. A state police fire marshal in June ruled the blaze arson, and a criminal investigation by the Zelienople Police Department is ongoing.
