Butler City Council is hosting a forum at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, at the Butler City Farmer’s Market, off Shore Street, where residents can speak about the money Butler could receive from the sale of the Butler Area Sewer Authority.

City Council heard from several financial advisers on how Butler administrators could best invest the city’s share of the $231.5 million from Pennsylvania American Water Company over the coming years.

Council members will be at the farmer’s market building to speak with people about the funds, and what it could do for the city in the coming years.
