A Dec. 31 wedding is being planned by Megan Smith of Butler and Lindon Fowler of Montgomery, Ala.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of the Rev. Jim and Nancy Smith of Butler. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Barry and Karen Fowler of East Brady.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Butler High School and a student at Grove City College.

Her fiancé is a 1997 graduate of BHS and a 2003 graduate of Geneva College. He works for Memorial Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Ala.
