A May 14 wedding is being planned by Michalene Posel and Tommy Simmons, both of Charlotte, N.C.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Gerald and Patricia Posel of Cranberry Township. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Tom and Doris Simmons of Hawkinsville, Ga.

The bride-elect is a 1992 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and a 1997 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She is employed at Wachovia Bank in Charlotte.

Her fiancé is a 1982 graduate of the Baker Academy. He is also employed at Wachovia Bank in Charlotte.
