An Oct. 7 wedding is being planned by Nicole Grochowski of Chicago and Ryan Graham of Schaumburg, Ill.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ricky Grochowski and Jill Papke-Skelnik, both of Chicago. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Kenneth and Linda Zach of Butler.

The bride-elect earned a degree in hospitality management from Roosevelt University in 2003. She works for Picture People in Schaumburg.

Her fiancé graduated in 1998 from Butler High School and in 2003 from Slippery Rock University, earning a degree in resort, recreation and tourism management. He works for Spring Hill Suites Marriott in Chicago.
