A December wedding is being planned by Dayna Eichenauer and James Martin, both of Emporia, Va.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Eichenauer of Zelienople and Mr. and Mrs. Omar Ifft of Evans City. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Donald Martin of Emporia, Va.

The bride-elect graduated in 1998 from Seneca Valley High School and in 2003 from Slippery Rock University, earning a bachelor of arts degree in biology. She works for the Greensville County Public School in Emporia, Va.

Her fiancé graduated from Mississippi State University, earning a bachelor of science degree in health and physical education. He also works for the Greensville County Public School in Emporia, Va.
