The Saxonburg Fine Art contest will be featured at the upcoming Minglefest on September 8, 9 and 10.

Artists and photographers are invited to submit their work for the contest, which is in its 37th year. Artwork will be displayed in the lower level of Saxonburg Memorial Church on Main Street.

Ribbons and cash prizes will be awarded in professional, nonprofessional and student categories.

Prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of the show. There is no fee to view the art.

In addition, Shirley Winkler will display her Ichiyo School of Ikebana, which is the art of Japanese flower arranging.
