Sentencings

County Judge William Shaffer handed down the following sentences Thursday:

Dakota Lee Anthony, 19, of Chicora was sentenced to a total of two years of probation, 60 days in jail, a $500 fine and more than $5,000 in restitution for fleeing an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under drug suspension. Anthony received credit for time already served. He was charged Feb. 3 and pleaded guilty July 31.

Michael D. Daugherty, 51, of Ford City was sentenced to two years of probation and must pay more than $13,000 in restitution to the victim for theft. Daugherty was charged Aug. 28, 2015, and pleaded guilty May 2, 2018.

Germaine F. Snyder-Davies, 51, of Fombell was sentenced to two years of probation, 30 days to six months in jail, a $1,000 fine and 60 hours of community service for recklessly endangering another person and driving under the influence. Snyder-Davies was paroled with the first 30 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Snyder-Davies was charged Nov. 12 and pleaded guilty July 20.

Alexander J. Lefever, 27, of Saxonburg was sentenced to three months to a year in jail, $800 in fines, 60 hours of community service, and one year of probation for fleeing from an officer. Lefever was immediately paroled with the first 90 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Lefever was charged April 28, 2019, and pleaded guilty July 27.

Patrick D. Knox, 48, of Aliquippa was sentenced to one year of probation for disorderly conduct. Knox was charged Oct. 31 and pleaded guilty Aug. 27.

Christopher S. Walker, 29, of Slippery Rock was sentenced to six months of probation with the first 14 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring and must pay a $300 fine for driving under the influence. Walker was charged Oct. 7 and pleaded guilty July 20.

Matthew J. Wyzykowski, 37, of Callery was sentenced to five years of probation with the first 90 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring, $3,500 in fines and 150 hours of community service for driving under the influence. Wyzykowski was charged May 22, 2019, and pleaded guilty Feb. 12.

Ja-Raye Le-Thon Sloan, 40, of New Brighton was sentenced to two years of probation with the first six months on house arrest with electronic monitoring for possession of a controlled substance. Sloan was charged June 7, 2017, and pleaded guilty July 9. In a second case, Sloan was sentenced to three years of probation with the first year on house arrest with electronic monitoring for possession with intent to deliver. Sloan was charged March 9, 2019, and pleaded guilty July 9. In a third case, Sloan was sentenced to one year of probation with the first six months on house arrest with electronic monitoring for possession of a controlled substance. Sloan was charged June 7, 2017, and pleaded guilty July 9.

Mark L. Powell, 55, of Valencia was sentenced to six to 23 and a half months in jail, 60 hours of community service and a $1,000 fine for driving under the influence. He was immediately paroled with the first six months on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Powell was charged July 11, 2019, and pleaded guilty June 18.

Sydney J. Trufley, 24, of Butler was sentenced to 14 days to six months in jail, 50 hours of community service and a $1,000 fine for driving under the influence. Trufley was immediately paroled with the first 14 days on house arrest with electronic monitoring. Trufley was charged Jan. 3, 2019, and pleaded guilty Feb. 12.

David T. Huselton Jr., 24, of Evans City was sentenced to one year of probation for simple assault. Huselton was charged Sept. 6, 2016, and pleaded guilty July 27.
