Butler County Area Agency on Aging is distributing Farmers Market vouchers.

County seniors who have not yet applied for vouchers should stop by the agency office between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The office is located in Building 3 next to Sunnyview Nursing Home, 107 Sunnyview Circle.

Vouchers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Consumers should take age and residency verification with them.

Eligible consumers are those age 60 year or older during 2012 who live independently in Butler County and meet the income guidelines of $20,665 for a single person or $27,991 for a couple.

Eligible consumers get $20 worth of Farmers Market Nutrition Program vouchers once a year.

ZELIENOPLE — The National Alliance on Mental Illness Family-to-Family Education Program will start with a session from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 8 at Passavant Retirement Community, 401 S.
