Marie J. Kiser
Marie J. Kiser, 92, a lifetime resident of Kittanning, died Sunday. For the past three years, she made her home with her daughter, Jean, in Butler.
Born Feb. 7, 1916, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of Calvin J. and Louise Tiha White.
Mrs. Kiser was an 80-year member of Faith United Presbyterian Church.
She was a 1933 graduate of Kittanning High School and graduated in 1937 from Westminster College with a bachelor's degree in education.
Mrs. Kiser had previously been a high school teacher in the Newell, W.Va., area for four years.
She is survived by a son William S. Kiser and his wife, Kathleen, of Knoxville, Tenn; a daughter, Jean M. Moser of Butler; and four grandchildren, Stephanie J. Moser, Melissa M. Gallo and her husband, Phillip, and Jeffrey A. and Karen M. Kiser.
Her husband, Paul E. Kiser, who she married April 12, 1941, died Aug. 20, 1974. She also was preceded in death by an infant son, Jackie Paul Kiser; a brother, Raymond C. White; and a son-in-law, Donald A. Moser Jr.
