Eleanor P. Lineman
Eleanor P. Lineman, 83, of Saxony Health Center, formerly of North Monroe Street, died peacefully with her family by her side at 12:15 a.m. Friday in the Saxony Health Center.
Born Jan. 19, 1924, in Butler, she was the daughter of Charles and Martha E. McCandless Rider.
She was a homemaker, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer at Butler Memorial Hospital, and had been active in her church.
Surviving are two daughters and their husbands, Sandra and Thomas McGrath of Marion, Indiana, and Cynthia L. and Daniel Minto of Butler; a son, Randall, and wife Debbie Lineman of Butler; 10 grandchildren, Ellen, Matthew, Megan, Rebecca, Todd, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Jeremy, Joshua and Julia; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Rider of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer L. Lineman, who died Aug. 13, 1988; a grandson; and a brother.
<B>LINEMAN</B> — Friends of Eleanor P. Lineman, who died Friday, Feb. 23, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Thomas M. Pierotti of Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating.
