Dick Day

Dick Day, former mayor of East Butler, will celebrate his 100th birthday on Sunday, July 16.

He was born July 16, 1923.

He married Dorothy Stewart on Oct. 20, 1948. She is deceased.

He is the father of Jean Lumley of Butler, Patty Nagy of East Butler, and Nancy Neff of Butler. He also has seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Day worked as a laborer. He is a World War II veteran and belongs to the Happy Hunters in East Butler.
