12:19 p.m. Monday — Police arrested a fugitive at a West Fulton Street home.A tip led officers to the house, and to Christopher Hair, 26, Butler, who was wanted on a bench warrant and a fugitive warrant. Police searched Hair and found him with suspected marijuana.Hair is charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, and was placed in the Butler County Prison on the two warrants.Police also charged Jennifer Blystone, 23, who lives at the house, where police seized a large marijuana bong. Blystone is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.2:30 p.m. Thursday — Police charged Charlene Clokey, 44, with possession of a controlled substance after being called to her house on American Avenue.The call came from Clokey's son to report the defendant had suffered an apparent drug overdose. An officer went to the house and found Clokey perspiring heavily, pale and suffering tremors.The woman was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for treatment of her condition. Police said they later seized 11 pills of suspected oxycodone.

11:15 a.m. Saturday — Vehicles driven by Kenneth Ferguson, 20, of Butler and Karen McDonald, 37, of Slippery Rock collided on Mercer Road.

8:05 p.m. Monday — An ATV driven by a Grove City 13-year-old hit an embankment off Roenigk Road in Cherry Township and rolled over. The driver and a 13-year-old passenger received minor injuries. They were taken to Grove City Medical Center in Grove City for treatment.11:28 a.m. Monday — A truck driven by Keith Thomas, 53, of San Bernardino, Calif., struck the side of a car while making a lane change on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township. The truck pushed the car for about two-tenths of a mile before it stopped.Police cited Thomas for a lane violation.William Buckler, 48, of Monaca, Beaver County was driving the car.Monday — Several undisclosed items were taken between 4 p.m. Sunday and 7:50 a.m. Monday in a burglary at a Dogwood Road home in Fairview Township. Sylvester Geibel of Chicora owns the stolen property.Sunday — Amailbox was stolen between 10 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Sunday at the Hannahstown Road home of Breanne Arnold in Jefferson Township.Saturday — Someone broke off the driver's side mirror of a Chevrolet 2500 HD owned by Leroy Bintrim of Prospect while it was parked at Eppinger's in Muddy Creek Township between 9 p.m. Friday and 12:20 a.m. Saturday.Friday — Someone scratched the driver's side door and bedside of a GMC S-15 owned by James Burns of Butler along with cutting its tonneau cover and breaking a mirror, causing a total of $400 in damage, while the vehicle was parked in the Clearview Mall parking lot in Center Township between 4 p.m. Thursday and 12:01 a.m. Friday.June 10 — Someone stole a $78 blue 20-inch Mongoose Outer Limit bicycle from the property of Kimberly Kennedy at 200 Church St. between 10 a.m. June 8 and 3 p.m. June 10.May 30 — Someone used the credit card number of Joseph Zgonc, 60, of Slippery Rock to make unauthorized charges between May 9 and May 30. Police are investigating.

7:05 a.m. Monday — Acar driven by Raymond Botzer, 51, of Rimersburg struck a utility pole along Route 68 in Rimersburg, Clarion County.

1:34 a.m. Monday — A Venango County man was injured when the motorcycle he was driving hit a deer on Scrubgrass Road near Springfield Church Road in Wolf Creek Township, Mercer County.Warren Whetzel, 24, of Polk, was thrown off the Honda cycle after hitting the animal. Police said Whetzel, who was wearing a helmet, traveled about 260 feet and ended up laying on the middle of the road with moderate injuries.Whetzel was taken to Grove City Medical Center, and his condition was not known this morning. Police cited Whetzel for driving too fast for conditions; faces several other undisclosed traffic violations.1:56 a.m. Saturday — Joshua McFarland, 22, of New Wilmington was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence ar Veterans and Brent roads in Springfield Township, Mercer County.11:50 p.m. Thursday — A burglar alarm apparently scared off a burglar at Rendos Beer Distributor in Springfield Township, Mercer County. Police said the unknown suspect smashed the window of a side door, which set off the alarm and sent the burglar fleering empty-handed.1:30 a.m. May 26 — Joshua P. McGowan, no age given, of Portersville was arrested for suspicion of DUI on Route 208 in Springfield Township, Mercer County.

8:03 p.m. June 13 — Vehicles driven by Jason Robert Nohe, 20, of Lacona Lane, Harmony, and Amanda M. Perhach, 24, of Monogahela, Pa., collided at the intersection of East Beaver and South Oliver streets. Minor damage and no injuries were reported.
