Gillespie 50th anniversary
Frank and Peggy Gillespie of Renfrew will celebrate 50 years of marriage with a party given by their children for family and friends at 6 p.m. April 30 at the Four Points Sheraton in Cranberry Township.
Their son John and his wife Kelley also took the couple to Italy to celebrate from March 16 to 28.
Gillespie married the former Peggy Haley on April 8, 1961, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Broomall.
They have three children, Linda Batykefer of Evans City, John Gillespie of Vienna, Va., and Karen Bell of Cranberry Township.
They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Gillespie is retired from retail and wholesale produce operations. He worked for A&P, Fox Grocery and retired from Roundy's of Milwaukee.
Mrs. Gillespie is retired from banking.
The Gillespies belong to St. Fidelis Roman Catholic Church in Meridian.
