Three fatalities, 668 crashes investigated by state police over July 4 weekend
According to data provided by state police, 668 vehicle crashes, including three fatalities and 194 injuries, were investigated during the July 4 holiday weekend, which ran from June 30 to July 4. Nearly 9% of the non-fatal crashes involved alcohol.
Troopers made 505 arrests for driving under the influence and issued 23,738 total traffic citations.
