Holler

Charles E. "Bones" Holler, 87, formerly of Rimersburg, died at 3:15 a.m. Saturday at Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Sligo, after a long illness.

Born Feb. 22, 1920, in Rimersburg, he was a son of George Milton and Ella Elizabeth Snyder Holler.

He was a member of Baker Street Church of God in Rimersburg.

He attended the Wildcat School. During World War II, he served in the Army with Battery C, 963rd Field Artillery Battalion in Belgium, Holland and Germany.

Mr. Holler retired as a production worker at Witco in Petrolia. Prior to that, he had worked at Rexhide in East Brady for 32 years.

Surviving are four daughters and their husbands, Ella Mae Long and Larry of Queenstown, Sandra K. Anthony and James of Templeton, Linda D. Donaldson and Harry of Parker and Mary Jane Milliron and Frank of Shreve, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a brother, William Holler, and his wife, Anna Mae, of Youngstown.

His wife, the former Virginia Ruth "Gin" Buzard, who he married in Rimersburg Aug. 27, 1946, died Oct. 22, 1997. He also was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alisha Dawn Milliron, on March 12, 1977; a brother, Edgar Holler; and three sisters, Mrs. Jenny Clawson, Mrs. Elsie Pago and Esther Holler.

<B>HOLLER</B> — Friends of Charles E. "Bones" Holler, who died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, 758 Main St., Rimersburg. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Randy Evans, Clarion-Forest VNA Hospice chaplain, and the Rev. Michael Kennedy, his church pastor, officiating.Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by members of Rimersburg VFW and American Legion Ceremonial Squad.
