Larry F. Madden
Larry F. Madden, 64, of Butler died at 11:03 a.m. Tuesday in Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born July 21, 1945, in Butler, he was the son of John William Madden and Pauline Virginia Summerville Madden.
Mr. Madden was a trust accountant for Mellon Bank, retiring in 2007.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where he was an eucharistic minister, a lector and a communion assistant. He also was a member of the chancel choir at the church. He was a member of the Trinity Men's Ministry, the Lutheran Men in Mission and the Couples Small Group of the church.
Larry enjoyed spending time with his family — his wife, kids and grandkids. He also enjoyed time outdoors, ping-pong, time with his Christian friends, and cars. Mr. Madden was an organ donor.
Mr. Madden is survived by his wife, Kathy Madden, who he married Aug. 5, 1967; four sons, W. Scott Madden and his wife, Kim, of Pittsburgh, Christopher Madden and Tina Noland of Portland, Ore., Todd Madden and his wife, Rita, of Pittsburgh and Jonathan Madden and his wife, Shannon, of Butler; one daughter, Amy and her husband, Joe Bevacqua, of New Kensington; and six grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Madison and Emma Bevacqua and Drew, Liam and Adelaide Madden. His mother, Pauline Madden of Chicora, also survives, along with four nieces, Stacey Reyes and Brynna, Gretchen and Becky Vogt, and one nephew, Chad Madden.
<B>MADDEN</B> — Friends Larry F. Madden, who died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Thomas M.
