Wolford

Don Wolford, 62, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023, in Okeechobee, Fla.

He was born March 2, 1961, in North Washington, Pa. He was the son of the late Robert Mckee Wolford.

Don worked in the pyrotechnics industry for 37 years, starting at the age of 25. He began his career at Zambelli in New Castle, and later moved to work at Pyrotecnico in Florida.

He traveled to many places in his career, including, but not limited to, Guam, Japan, Hawaii and Vietnam.

Don was a hard worker and loved what he did. He is loved and missed by many family and friends.

He is survived by his son, Justin Wolford of New Castle; daughters, Ashlee Wolford and Haley Wolford, both of New Castle; a sister, Debra Baer (Bruce) of Cummings, Ga.; a brother, Pat Wolford of Boyers; and many nieces and nephews.
