Tuesday 5:06 p.m. — Patricia Fusaro, 41, of Evans City drove into the back of a car driven by Raymond P. Rozic, 60, of Cabot after she became distracted driving on South Main Street. Rozic was stopped for traffic just past the intersection of East Diamond Street.Tuesday 3:35 p.m. — One person was injured following a two-car accident on North Main Street.The accident occurred when Ellen S. Romett, 65, of Butler was pulling out of her driveway on the 500 block.Romett's car struck a car driven by Darcy Kubicsek, 26, of Butler. Kubicsek lost control of her car and drove through the northbound lane and into hedges at Congregation B'nai Abraham.Kubicsek was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries.

Thursday — James F. Cunningham, 31, of Zelienople was charged with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole items from cars in the Highfield area of the township between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. Nov. 26.Police received a report of a person walking in and out of driveways on Colonial Avenue and other streets in the area.Police were able to use video from an Evans City Road resident's home surveillance camera to identify Cunningham. It showed Cunningham entering unlocked vehicles.Several residents of the Highfield area reported items and money missing from vehicles the day after the incident.

2:10 a.m. Thursday — Harold Allen, 48, and Anna McCandless, 25, both of Butler, were charged with simple assault after the two got into a fight at a Meadowbrook Lane apartment. Both Allen and McCandless were injured.
