Helen A. Gettman
Helen A. Gettman, 94, of Zelienople died Friday at the Ellwood City Hospital, Ellwood City.
Born Jan. 5, 1915, in Evans City, she was the daughter of the late Braden and Emma Barkley Lutz.
Mrs. Gettman was a very active member of St. Peter's Reformed Church and had volunteered for 25 years with the Zelienople Meals on Wheels program.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by two daughters, Geri (Paul "Windy") Young of Zelienople and Beverly Kradel of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; three sisters, Anna Kaschik of Butler and Janet Gettman and Dorothy Davidson, both of Zelienople; four grandchildren, Jim (JoAnn) Kradel of Navarre, Fla., Kim (Joel) Hilliard of Renfrew, Paul "Rusty" (Barb) Young of Ellwood City and Michelle (Steve) Podlaski of Cranberry Township; and eight great-grandchildren, Ryan and Rachel Kradel, Kyle and Trevor Hilliard, Carli and Sami Young and Tyler and Katie Podlaski.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Gettman, in 1981; and also by two brothers, Gerald and Dale Lutz.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter's Reformed Church, 314-320 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with her pastor, the Rev. James R. Bertoti, officiating.
