1:46 a.m. Sunday - Neily Lesesne, 59, of Ridgeville, S.C., was arrested for driving under the influence at East Jefferson and Franklin streets. Lesesne was arraigned for DUI and running a red light, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $3,000 bond.12:53 a.m. Sunday - An unidentified vehicle traveled off Hansen Avenue and over a traffic island, knocking down several traffic signs. The driver did not stop following the crash.4:19 a.m. Sunday - Adam Ansani, 27, was arrested for assaulting his girlfriend, Dawn Dittmer, 31, following a domestic dispute at the couple's 405 W. Brady St. home. Ansani was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,000 bond.11:21 a.m. Thursday - A van driven by Melinda Buczko, 17, of Butler and a pickup truck driven by Frank Herman, 63, of 452 Freeport Road collided on South Main Street. Buczko, who was not wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries.

6 p.m. May 8 - An abduction attempt of a 12-year-old boy on New Castle Street was reported by an acquaintance of the youth. The report said three white males in a green jeep stopped near the youth and told the boy to get in the car. One of the males allegedly got out of the car and was then hit in the face by the youth. Another of the males allegedly got out of the car and was kicked by the youth, who then fled.May 7 - Jennifer Murphy, 22, of South Main Street in the borough reported that a computer valued at $1,300 had been taken from her apartment.

5:25 a.m. Sunday - Pickup trucks driven by Joseph Gallagher, no age given, and William Griffiths, no age given, both of Chicora collided at Route 68 and Snyder Lane in Oakland Township.Sunday - Eight cans of Busch beer were taken in a burglary between 11:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. at the Boyers Road home of Kristen Braswell in Mercer Township.7:55 p.m. Saturday - Vehicles driven by Shawn Buzzard, 37, of Pittsburgh and Stephen Lehere, 22, of West Sunbury collided at Routes 433 and 422 in Franklin Township. Both drivers, who were wearing seatbelts, suffered minor injuries.7 p.m. Saturday - A car driven by Travis Sub, 19, of Butler struck a tree along Holyoke Road in Center Township. Andrew Barnett, 19, a passenger in the car who was wearing a seatbelt, suffered minor injuries.6:30 p.m. Saturday - Johnny Cravener, 47, of Manorville, Armstrong County, was arrested for allegedly taking a bag of unpaid merchandise from the JC Penney store at the Clearview Mall in Center Township. A security guard stopped Cravener following a brief chase in the parking lot. Cravener was arraigned on a retail theft charge and placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $2,000 bond.4 p.m. Saturday - A 15-year-old girl, whom police did not identify, was arrested for shoplifting clothing at the JC Penney store in the Clearview Mall in Center Township. The girl was cited for retail theft.1:06 p.m. Saturday - Mandy Jo Maharg, 24, and Jeremy Green, 27, both of Butler were arrested for assaulting one another during a domestic dispute at a Bish Road home in Summit Township.Saturday - Someone broke into the Connoquenessing Road home of William Lucas in Connoquenessing Township. It was not reported if any property was taken in the burglary that occurred between October and Saturday.11:30 p.m. Friday - A sport utility vehicle driven by Lawrence Galbraith, no age given, of Evans City struck an embankment on Shannon Road in Connoquenessing Township.2:50 p.m. Friday - Sport utility vehicles driven by David Kovach, 50, and Barbara Garrett, 35, both of Cranberry Township collided at Powell and Freedom roads in Cranberry Township. Kovach, who was wearing a seatbelt was taken with moderate injuries to UPMC Passavant Cranberry.9:35 p.m. Thursday - Mitchell Heller, 34, of Chicora was arrested for driving under the influence on Route 68 at the Oakland-Summit Township line. Heller, who was wanted by the Butler County Sheriff's office on a bench warrant, was placed in the Butler County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bond.2:40 a.m. Thursday - Rahman Guney, 30, of Butler was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence at Routes 8 and 422 in Butler Township.Thursday - Vincent Storti, no age given, of New Castle was arrested for violating a protection from abuse order after allegedly calling a woman repeatedly at her Portersville Road home. Storti was arraigned and placed in the Butler County Prison.9:25 p.m. May 3 - A vehicle driven by Michael Watt, no age given, of Butler struck two mailboxes along Muddy Creek Drive in Clay Township, and did not stop following the crash. Watt was cited for accidents involving damage to unattended property and driving with a suspended license-DUI related.May 3 - A Motorola cell phone was taken from a vehicle at Hindman Hauling in Connoquenessing Township. The theft occurred between April 28 and May 3.

11:50 a.m. Friday - Vehicles driven by Mirriam Hamelly, 68, and Logan Rouse, 44, both of Jackson Center collided at George Junior and Cranberry roads in Pine Township, Mercer County. Hammelly and a passenger in Rouse's vehicle, Brenda Rouse, 43, of Jackson Center, both who were wearing seatbelts, suffered minor injuries.2:29 a.m. Friday - Joseph Mosley, 48, of Grove City was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence on Route 173 in Pine Township, Mercer County.

May 12 - Derek Hoffman, 22, of Grove City reported that his 1992 Honda Accord had all four tires damaged between 11 p.m. May 9 and 11 a.m. May 10. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department.5 p.m. May 8 - Stacia Mason, 25, of Grove City was arrested after a domestic altercation that occurred on Edgewood Avenue. Mason was charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal trespass.May 8 - The concession stand near the girl's softball field in Memorial Park was broken into. It is unknown what was taken. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department.May 7 - A woman's wallet was reported lost near the post office.May 6 - A 15-year-old male from Grove City was arrested for aggravated assault and simple assault after he pointed a laser device at an officer while the officer was assisting on a traffic stop.May 4 - A girl's bicycle was recovered between South Center Street and Broad Street. The owner may identify and claim the bike at the police department.
