2:47 p.m. Tuesday — A Butler Township man was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police responded to a domestic call at his 411 Whitestown Road residence.After Daniel Cyphert, 39, ran into his house while police were there, marijuana was found inside a cigarette box in one of his pockets.Police also took a Lyndora man into custody on an outstanding warrant from the Butler County Sheriff's office. Michael Watt, 29, was jailed in Butler County Prison.

2:35 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Thomas Lahey, 22, of Pittsburgh was traveling on Halston Road in Brady Township when it struck the guardrail along the road three times before stopping. Lahey and his two passengers, Shawn Moore, 19, and Jessica Parker, 19, both of Chicora, were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Police report speed was a factor in the accident.10:47 a.m. Wednesday — A car driven by Richard Smith, 54, of Bruin and a van driven by Samuel Wills, 35, of Elizabethtown collided on Route 68 in Oakland Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured. Smith was cited for a traffic violation.4:20 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Barbara Uram, 56, of Butler struck the rear of a vehicle driven by George Martsolf, 66, of Butler on Route 173 in Brady Township. Both drivers were wearing seat belts and were not injured.2:16 a.m. Saturday — Matthew Vidas, 32, of Edinboro was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a traffic stop on New Castle Road in Butler Township.5 p.m. Wednesday — Jonathan Weaver, 21, of Pittsburgh was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia along Perry Highway in Muddy Creek Township.1 a.m. Thursday — Ryan Waits, 22, of Evans City was struck in the head with a glass bottle by an unknown person while attending a party at an unknown address on Ralston Road in Slippery Rock Township. Waits was treated for a head laceration at UPMC Cranberry and released.Wednesday — An unknown person spray painted a 24-by-36-inch graffiti logo onto the northern entry pillar of Slippery Rock Cemetery between 5 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. Anyone with information about the incident should call state police at 724-284-8100.Thursday — Derrick Glace, 22, of Butler reported the theft of the dashboard and tachometer, valued at $350, from his blue Chevrolet S-10 truck while it was parked at 786 East Butler Road in East Butler between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 1:30 p.m. Thursday. An estimated $150 worth of damage was done to the truck. Anyone with information about the incident should call state police at 724-284-8100.

1:16 a.m. Tuesday — Donald Charles Ruby, 46, of Lancaster Township was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol charges after police witnessed his vehicle cross the center and fog lines on Route 19 a number of times.2:18 a.m. Saturday — Michael D. Hoffman, 59, of New Castle was arrested on driving under the influence charges following a traffic stop on Route 19 after police witnessed his vehicle traveling north in the southbound lane on Route 19 near Fanker Road.6:50 a.m. March 16 — Vehicles driven by Dennis P. Breese, 39, of Grove City and Curt Leroy, 41, of New Castle collided on Route 19 near the intersection with Lindsay Road.
