Boyer

Helen Louise Boyer, 87, of Prospect, passed away the morning of Wednesday, June 28, 2023, while under the care of Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

She was born Feb. 19, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Joseph S. Campbell and Helen (Christie) Campbell.

Helen graduated in 1954 from Concord High School. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Prospect. She was also a member of Keenagers in Portersville, where she enjoyed the monthly fellowship and many bus trips. She loved cooking and baking with her granddaughters, Hannah and Chloe. She was an avid reader.

Helen is survived by her two daughters, Christine Humphrey and Beverly (Michael) McCall; two sons, William E. Boyer and John (Michelle) Boyer; four granddaughters; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Jane Daugherty and Patricia Henricks; two brothers, Gerald Campbell and John Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R.W. “Bill” Boyer, whom she married Aug. 30, 1957; her daughter, Connie Boyer; and her brother, Leo Campbell.

BOYER — Family and friends of Helen Louise Boyer, who died June 28, 2023, will be received for visitation from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

Funeral services will follow visitation at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor Jason Sinagra, of the Presbyterian Church of Prospect, officiating.

Burial will be private in Concord Cemetery.
