J. Delsie Montgomery
J. Delsie Montgomery, 90, of Cabot died Saturday at Sunnyview Home.
Born Jan. 7, 1917, in Freeport, she was the daughter of Edward C. and Edna Jahnig Wetzel.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Montgomery was a member of the Buffalo Presbyterian Church, where she belonged to the women's organization. She also belonged to the Butler Farm Show Board.
She enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are a son, Robert Montgomery of Cabot; a brother, Wilfred "Bill" Wetzel of Sarver; six sisters, Twila Fink of Sarver, Leonice Cypher of Cabot, Alda Barr of Scottdale, Violet and Jean Wetzel, both of Saxonburg, and Mrs. Nick (June) Golojuh of Cabot; a granddaughter, Lori Ann Montgomery and her husband, David Troy, of Washington, D.C.; a grandson, Douglas Montgomery of Cabot, and three great-granddaughter.
Preceding her in death were her husband, R. Clarke Montgomery; two brothers, Irving "Irk" and Earl Wetzel, and a sister, Elizabeth Young.
<B>MONTGOMERY </B>— Friends of J. Delsie Montgomery, who died Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Hupp officiating.
