Theodore "Ted" C. Waldron, 75, of Butler passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 30, 1934, in Butler, the son of the late Theodore C. Waldron and Genevieve (Mangel) Allison.

Ted was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Roman Church and the Moose Lodge.

He worked as a chef at the Butler Days Inn.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Ellen) Fentross of Aiken, S.C.; four sons, William "Buzz" and Maryann Waldron of Monroe, N.C., Ted Waldron of Austin, Texas, Terry and Cheryl Waldron of Austin, and Frank and Sun Ye Waldron of Nashville, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a son-in-law, Edward Malinowski of West Sunbury; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Janet) Cole of DuBois and Geraldine Saparito of Cherry Hill, N.J.; four brothers, Mike Waldron of Georgia, Dean and Peggy Allison of Butler, Robert and Cathy Allison of Butler, and William Waldron of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Janet Malinowski; and a brother, Kayo Waldron.

<B>WALDRON</B> — Friends of Theodore "Ted" C. Waldron, who died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the <B>Young Funeral Home</B>, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler. A blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Neff officiating.
