Shyann Breanna Smith, 14, of Bruin passed away Tuesday at her home.

She was born Dec. 27, 1994, in Butler, the daughter of Brian Smith of Butler and Lori (McKissick) Kuhns of Bruin.

Shyann was entering the 9th grade at Karns City High School.

She loved animals, energy drinks, drawing and listening to heavy metal bands. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, friends and boyfriend.

Surviving are her father and stepmother, Brian and Jennifer Smith of Butler; her mother, Lori Lynn Kuhns of Bruin; her paternal grandmother, Mary E. Smith of Eau Claire; her maternal grandmother, Melinda "Lynn" McKissick of Butler; four sisters, Jade Dunnigan of Saxonburg, Ceira Kuhns of Parker and Tracelynn and Halie Smith of Butler; a brother, Robert Kuhns of Parker; a stepbrother, Josh Smith; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Charles McKissick; and paternal grandfather, Cornelius Smith.
