Geraldine Ruth Gally, 86, of Zelienople, formerly of Evans City, died Monday while under the care of the Good Samaritan Hospice.

Born Dec. 18, 1923, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Delbert and Nellie Belle (Kuhns) Andrews.

Mrs. Gally was a former member of the VFW Post 499 Ladies Auxiliary in Evans City, the Hungarian Beneficial Society of Zelienople and the Harmony Moose Lodge 957.

After many years of dedicated service, she retired from the Evans City Post Office.

She loved word search books and playing penny bingo at the Lutheran Home.

She is survived by her three daughters, Linda Parise and her husband, Ralph, of Canonsburg, Leah LeFebvre and her husband, Walter “Butch,” of Zelienople, with whom Mrs. Gally made her home, and Stephanie Soltesz and her husband, Jim, of Zelienople; a sister, Rita Craig and her husband, John, of Washington, Pa.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen F. Gally, who died April 29, 2003; an infant granddaughter, and three brothers.

<B>GALLY</B> — The family of Geraldine Ruth Gally, who died Monday, Dec. 13, 2010, will welcome friends Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the <B>Boylan Funeral Home</B>, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople. A blessing service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Father Robert Miller officiating.
