10:08 a.m. Sunday - A Butler man with a half dozen prior convictions for driving under the influence was arrested for drunk driving on West New Castle Street, police said.James Gautreau, 31, of 404 Center Ave., Apt. 2 was driving a Ford Bronco when he was stopped for suspicion of drunk driving. An intoxilyzer test showed his blood-alcohol level at 0.268 percent, or more than three times the 0.08 percent level considered intoxicated for drivers under state law.Police noted Gautreau's criminal record showed he has six previous DUI convictions in Florida.3:30 p.m. Jan. 5 - Keith Reges, 17, of Butler swerved his pickup truck to avoid another vehicle and struck a barrier pole at Wagner Avenue and New Castle Street. The pickup continued into a chain-link fence owned by Brad Stutz before Reges overcorrected and drove into a garage door owned by Marlene Huff.Police said Reges had fled the crash site, leaving the pickup behind, by the time officers arrived. He was later cited for accidents involving damage to unattended property.
7:31 p.m. Monday - A car driven by Lori Moore, 39, of Saxonburg struck a tree at Bull Creek and Patterson roads in Jefferson Township.4:30 p.m. Monday - A car driven by Alyson Dunn, 21, of Chicora slid off snow-covered Route 173 in Slippery Rock Township, traveled about 75 feet and struck a driveway maker. Dunn was cited for driving too fast for conditions.Monday - An undisclosed amount of money and compact disc cases were taken between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday from an unlocked vehicle at the Mahood Road home of Mark Lauer in Center Township.Monday - A wallet was taken between 11 p.m. Sunday and 3 a.m. Monday from a vehicle at the Muddy Creek Drive home of Dale Eaton in Brady Township.9:35 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Michael Meyer, 43, of Parker slid off snow-covered Route 268 near Slate Dump Road in Parker Township and struck a tree.Meyer, who was wearing a seat belt, was flown by medical helicopter with moderate chest and leg injuries to Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. His condition was not known this morning.5:49 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Aleia Claire, 26, of Zelienople skidded on snow-covered Route 422 in Clearfield Township and rolled onto its side.4:14 p.m. Sunday - A vehicle driven by Abby Thompson, no age given, of West Sunbury struck a utility pole along Pleasant Valley Road in Muddy Creek Township.2:35 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Albert Miller, 66, of Canada struck a concrete barrier on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.8:04 a.m. Sunday - A car driven by Kimberly Muntz, 44, of Portersville skidded on an ice patch on Interstate 79 in Muddy Creek Township and flipped onto its roof. Muntz, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown out of the car. She was taken with moderate shoulder and head injuries to Butler Memorial Hospital. Her condition was not known this morning.Thursday - Undisclosed items were taken between 12:30 and 8 a.m. from two unlocked cars at Green Manor Drive in Jefferson Township.
10:10 p.m. Sunday - A car driven by Pedro Santiago, no age given, of Worthington struck five vehicles parked at the Troy-Alan Buick/Cadillac dealership lot on Butler Road in West Kittanning, Armstrong County.
5 a.m. Jan. 10 - An unknown man allegedly stole a 27-inch flat screen television at the TravelCenters of America truck stop on Interstate 80 in Barkeyville, Venango County.
