Janet Elaine Fox

Janet Elaine Beck Fox, 57, of 2819 Old Route 422 in Fenelton, died Friday at her home of lung cancer.

Born May 19, 1947, in Ford City, she was the daughter of the late Oliver John Beck and the late Katherine May Klingensmith Beck.

She had worked at Creekside Mushrooms for more than 10 years and in greenhouses for several years.

She was a former member of the Ford Cliff Fireman’s Women’s Auxiliary.

She enjoyed making floral arrangements, auctions, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Fox, of Fenelton; a son, John Fox of Worthington; a daughter, Shari Brewer of Chicora; five sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Karen) Sagath of Irwin, Connie Svezney of Ford Cliff, Mrs. John (Ruth Ann) Daugherty of Vowinkle, Mrs. William (Deborah) Baum Jr., of Kittanning, and Tami Beck of Ford Cliff; a brother, Richard Beck of Kittanning; two grandsons; two granddaughters; three step-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

FOX — Friends of Janet Elaine Fox, who died Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Terrence Kennedy, pastor of Martinsburg Presbyterian Church in Bruin, will officiate. Burial will be in Lutheran Cemetery, Worthington.
